The positives is that the bamboo is very pretty. It also looks like the photos. There are good strong magnets that hold the doors closed -- 4 magnets each door.However, first thing is the directions are vague. They say there are 30 screws, there are 6 of one type, 8 of another (very similar looking, too) and then 16 tiny little ones. They also show 2 of a shelf "F" but they don't say there is a difference between the two -- one has the slot for the back in it and is the bottom. They also don't bother showing you the difference in the drawing. Another issue is that none of the pieces are marked, so you have to figure out which is the top, bottom, middle on your own -- not difficult but takes a bit extra time.As to the product it self - one piece was broken -- the side has a little ridge built on for the cutting board to rest on. The one was completely off and the brads were bent (meaning it was not installed properly to begin with). I had my BIL fix it since he does woodwork and has all the tools and glue needed. Also, I notice some of the bamboo flaked around one of the windows.Some mentioned the film on the acrylic -- it is difficult to get it off and I still have some little pieces near the edge. I actually put small scratches in the acrylic window in attempting to get it all off. There is a little chip in the window at the edge and I am not sure whether it was something I did or if it was already there and the film hid it.All that being said, it looks nice once together and I think all the others like this will have similar issues.It comes completely unassembled with very minimal instructions. Actually, there are no real instructions, just pictures of the parts. It's pretty and affordable but you will have work to do.I like the wood it’s made of. Lots of space. Looks good on my counter.The assembly instructions need to be improved, but we managed to assemble it.This is a super cute bread box. The only thing that I didn’t like was the plastic over the glass. It was hard to get off. The box will hold 4 loads of bread nicely. I don’t know about assembly. This was a gift and my husband put it together.The box looks nice, but the assembly instructions were terrible. None of the parts are labeled so you'll just have to guess. My particular unit's middle shelf was missing cut-outs for the shelf pins to hold the shelf in place on one side.I’ve been wanting a breadbox for a while and finally chose this one because I like the look of it and that the top and bottom have their own doors. I am the village idiot when it comes to assembly and the image directions lack important details so I had to call on the help of a friend who likes this sort of stuff to get it done correctly. It’s lovely and functional and fit under the cupboards just fine. I do like the glass front and find it aesthetically pleasing. Very happy with this purchase!I wasn't expecting a lot from a $40 window box but I was at least expecting all the parts to fit together. The back was too large by a 1/4 of an inch in one direction and a 1/8 in the other. This forced me to trim it or I would not be able use it. There were several minor issues that all in all left me disappointed. I produced better work in my high-school wood shop.I had to return the first one because it was damaged and the second one was a little cracked. And also the glass on one of them was scratch badly because no protection on one-sided.
